Bilando, Platero top the National Statistics Month Competition Cluster Level

Dayap NHS Main's Raffy Bilando owned the Mathalino Quiz Bee and Elmer Platero in Poster-making contest Cluster Competition as part of the month-long National Statistics Month celebration held at Dayap NHS Covered Court, November 3, 2017.

Bilando, a Grade 10 Narra Student, showed his numerical skills as he stacked the highest point far from his competitiors in the quiz bee competition.

Meanwhile, Platero, a Grade 10 student, proved his creativity and conceptualization bagging the 1st Place finish in the Poster-making contest.

In the opening of the cluster competition, Dr. Reynaldo D. Villaluz congratulated the participants even before the contest started.

"Congratulations! Your are already winners. The mere fact that you are already representing your school and your district is a sign that you are one of the best," said Dr. Villaluz.

Also, Jaztin Charles Dizon, Grade 7 Einstein, and John Lemuel Barela, Grade 9 Mendeleev, bagged the 2nd Place finish in the Quiz Bee advanced category.

In an interview, Mrs. Mildred Viterbo expressed her gratitude to all the participants and persons involved to make the program a success.

"This is not only a success of any participating school, but a success of the whole cluster 6 of the Division of Laguna," Mrs. Viterbo said.

All the 1st Place winners will represent Cluster 6 in the Division Level.

The month-long celebration is pursuant to the Presidential Proclamation No. 647 dated September 20, 1990, which declared October of every year as National Statistics Month and Memorandum Circular No. 01-16 issued by the National Statistics Authority enjoining all government agencies to participate in the 28th National Statistics Month.
